The Golden Thread

At Chiltern Teaching School Hub (CTSH), our core function to deliver exceptional, inspirational and supportive continuous professional development aligns with the Department for Educations (DfEs) ‘Golden Thread’. 

The Golden Thread, supports teacher development throughout the entirety of a Teacher’s Career; from an Early Career Teacher (ECT) all the way up to Executive Leadership, we provide exceptional opportunities for all. 

  • Delivery of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) through CTG
  • Delivery of the Early Career Framework (ECF) in partnership with Best Practice Network.
  • Providing Appropriate Body (AB) services for Early Career Teachers
  • Delivery of National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) in partnership with Best Practice Network
  • Other Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
