We are delighted to announce that Chiltern Teaching School Hub (CTSH) has been chosen as the designated Appropriate Body for Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire (East & North). Our partnership with local induction services enables us to offer exceptional support and ensure the highest standards for teacher induction.
In our role as an appropriate body, we take great pride in our responsibility to quality assure statutory teacher induction. This includes the crucial task of making the final determination as to whether an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) has successfully met the Teachers' Standards.
By assuming this vital role, we aim to provide expert guidance, assistance, and quality assurance throughout the induction process. Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to supporting ECTs in their professional development and ensuring that they receive the necessary resources and mentorship to thrive in their teaching careers.
At CTSH, we understand the significance of a robust and rigorous induction period for new teachers. We believe that by upholding the highest standards of practice, we contribute to the overall enhancement of the education system in our region. Our commitment to excellence and dedication to fostering a supportive environment for ECTs underpin our mission to cultivate a generation of highly skilled and passionate educators.
We are excited about this opportunity to serve as the Appropriate Body for teacher induction in Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire (East & North). Through our collaboration with local induction services, we are confident in our ability to provide exemplary support, professional guidance, and the assurance of meeting the Teachers' Standards. Together, we will empower ECTs to excel in their teaching journey and positively impact the lives of countless students in our communities.
Our Appropriate Body Services are charged at £450 per Early Careers Teacher, covering the 2-year induction.
